“The Narcissist”–NOVA interview with director Eric Casaccio

The Northern Virginia International Film Festival just posted a new interview from the Northern Virginia Annual Film Festival, where film director Eric Casaccio talks about his short film “The Narcissist,” a drama about a man named Evan (Hunter Lee Hughes) who falls in love with a charming but highly manipulative man named Rob (Brionne Davis) who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder and nearly destroys Evan.

So far, “Narcissist” has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from film critics.

“Narcissist” is a short film about a toxic love relationship between a narcissistic man named Rob (Brionne Davis) and his victim Evan, played by Hunter Lee Hughes. Eric Casaccio is the film’s director.

For anyone in the Los Angeles, California area, “Narcissist” will be playing at North Hollywood Cinefest on Tuesday, April 14th @ 9:30pm.

Preliminary reviews have been positive. 🙂

Interview with Eric Casaccio about his film “Narcissist”

“Narcissist,” the movie, will be featured at the Miami Short Film Festival. Here’s the NBC news story featuring an interview with the film’s director, Eric Casaccio, who drew from his own experience with people with NPD to make this film.

This morning while poking around on the web, I came across this trailer and promo for a new movie by Eric Casaccio–“Narcissist.” It looks pretty interesting. I would like to see this when it’s released.

Synopsis:
“Narcissist” is the story of a kind soul (Evan) who attracts a dark knight (Rob) into his life. It’s almost as it’s meant to be until Rob goes from a charming man to a manipulative individual who suddenly pulls the carpet out from under Evan, smashing his heart into a million pieces.
