Donate!

moneyfear

Dear Reader,
I’ve never been comfortable asking for money, but I’ve seen other bloggers who have a “donate” tab so they can maintain the expenses involved in running their blog
Any donations I receive would of course be used to keep this website going and to expand it later on if it continues to grow at the rate it has been.

I love this new writing passion of mine, which began as a form of self-therapy because I could not afford a good therapist. It’s turned into so much more I could not have imagined it. I see this blog growing and changing very much like a child growing up. Like a child, it’s forming its own personality. This blog is almost like my third child!

I think it’s important to keep educating people who have been victims of narcissistic abuse and feel that this blog lets people have a voice.

If you would like to donate something (any amount is fine) to help me maintain my Internet expenses for running this blog which will allow me to continue to heal myself, and also offer hope and inspiration for victims of narcissistic abuse, please make your donation through https://www.paypal.com/home

If you prefer to donate by check or money order instead, please email me at the address above so I can send you the pertinent information (where to send it, etc.)

All donations will remain anonymous, and any amount to this cause would be such a blessing to me and other victims all over the world. This blog has a deep reach now and is being read by people in as far flung places as Ghana, Mongolia, and Trinidad/Tobago. No matter who we are or where we live, narcissists are present and they still will abuse us.

Even if you can’t afford anything, no worries, just continue to give your support by following this blog.

Blessings,
Lauren Bennett “Lucky Otter”

  1. Does anyone know who coined the phrase narcissistic?
I understand that the concept is originally Greek Mythology but who made it a diagnosis I wonder?

    • Narcissism is named after Narcissus, the Greek boy who stared at his own reflection–but it sounds like you already knew that.
I just Googled your question and it took me to the Wikipedia page for it that says Narcissism was coined in the 19th century by Sigmund Freud.
