I have so many reviews and commentaries about movies that portray narcissism and other Cluster B disorders such as BPD that I realized it needed to be a topic in the header.
I am not including documentaries in this list, just theatrical films.
Narcissism/NPD:
Beauty and The Beast (1991)
“Ordinary People” (1980)
“Boogie Nights” (1997)
“Terms of Endearment” (1983)
Psychopathy/Sociopathy
“Risky Business” (1983)
“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (1986)
“We Need to Talk About Kevin” (2011)
Article from another source about movies that portray NPD/other Cluster B disorders.
A Streetcar Named Desire
Black Swan
Lucy in the “Peanuts” comic strips (I know it’s not a movie, relax)
Gaslight
Mommie Dearest
Schindler’s List
Borderline Personality Disorder
“Welcome to Me” (2015)
“Mary Jane Harper Cried Last Night” (1977 TV movie)
Other
“Inside Out” (2015) — not really about narcissism, but about emotions and how they work.
“LBJ” (2017)
Don’t forget Silence of the Lambs.

I didn’t. I’ve only reviewed a very few movies. I’m well aware this doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of what’s out there. Narcissism and psychopathy are in almost EVERY movie, when you think about it.
Look forward to more movie reviews in the future.

It was a good movie, very disturbing. I couldn’t get it out of my mind for days. The acting was superb.

Stuck in my mind too! So this Kevin was just plain born that way? There’s other movie. I don’t know if it has anything to do with your post but wanted to say this other movie got stuck in my mind too.

He might have been born that way (which means he is a psychopath) or he might have been made that way because of his mother’s ambivalent feelings about him. The movie never answers this, but it makes you think of the possibilities.

Can’t say if he had a ‘personality disorder’ and I’m no artist but can certainly identify with his character portrayed here.

The finest comedy about (taking it to the extreme limit) narcissism – and a marvelous movie – Kind Hearts & Coronets – 1949. Dennis Price, Alec Guinness and Valerie Hobson star. Lowly born Price murders the heads of his entire family in his grandiose plan to inherit a Dukedom.
