I got some good ones today! I think the season’s at it’s peak in western NC. Sorry — there was no post last week.

Love western NC. Have spent copious amounts of time in Hendersonville, Brevard, Cashiers, Saluda. Have made countless runs on the Nantahala and Little Pigeon. Love Asheville and Pisgah National Forest. One of my favorite areas of the country! 😃

It is, but after being here for 20+ years, it’s easy to take for granted.

I’ve been going to NC since I was a kid. My dad lives in Spartanburg, SC and I’d spend all my summers and spring breaks there. But we’d be up in the mountains every weekend. Even as an adult I’d go for camping and/or kayaking. And for the past 20 years we’ve gone out to Ocracoke once or twice a year. Yeah, I have a long relationship with NC. Beautiful state.

That sounds like fun. It’s incredibly photogenic with many diverse areas-ranging from the warm summers/cold winters of the mountains to almost tropical near the coast.
