Back in business!

Well, it turned out my old laptop couldn’t be fixed. It was 5 years old and pretty much everything had worn out. I’ll be putting the diagnostic fee toward data transfer (can’t lose all my pictures). Yesterday I found a good deal on a HP Notebook laptop (the same kind I had before) that has Windows 10. (I was using 8.1 before)

So I’m back in business! It’s so nice to actually be able to post again and do things other than read websites (because typing on a phone is really hard for me).

I’ll try to have a longer post up later today, but in the meantime I’ll just post a meme that made me laugh. It’s good to be back.

  1. Oh my gosh, I missed your posts. I just sent you an email offering you a new laptop in trade for your editing services for my memoir. But since you already have a new laptop, I guess when the time comes I will just pay you to edit, if you want the job, that is. You are such a superb writer, I can’t think of anyone I would rather have to edit my very personal work. 🙂

  2. Congrats – and welcome back. I’m with you on the hatefulness of typing on screens — even tiny keyboards slow down thought. When my last Mac laptop obsolesced I went to a desktop, standard keyboard and large monitor (still Mac, tho’). MUCH better for me. Loved the “You Got Mail” meme, btw. Pinned it to my “Waay too much screen time” board.
