This is a joke I actually get! I’m so happy:) No really, I don’t ‘get’ every joke all of the time and it embarasses me. I’m not a joke-getter. I wonder if that’s in the DSM? LoL

I get nervous when people tell me jokes because I always feel like it’s a test and if I don’t “get it” people will be able to tell even if I lie and say I got it. It triggers my social anxiety.

I know exactly what you mean:) Too, if you don’t ‘get it,’ the joke teller may think they’re not very funny and feel bad. It can be very awkward.
