I have been posting a new set of photos in my weekly series “The Progression of Spring” every Sunday since March 8th, but today has been pouring rain all day, and it’s foggy so I’m going to have to delay the next installment until tomorrow or whenever the weather improves. Monsoon season has started. Sorry, guys! Here’s one photo for ya.
I’d say in about another 2-3 weeks I’ll be ending this series because once everything looks like summer, I’m done with this project. Every day is looking greener than the last. Spring is in full swing!
ETA: I looked up the weather forecast for this week. The first nice day looks to be Tuesday, after that, who knows? We’re in monsoon season–mid-late April and early May is our rainy season.

Been kinda drizzly my way, but that is nothing abnormal for a typical Florida summer. We have already been hitting in the 90’s. Muggy as hell!

Same here. It’s getting muggy and the monsoon season is starting. I heard it’s suppsed to be like this all week. 😦 Ugh. Spring does have its downside.

Yep. Top it all off, my son just “broke” the lawnmower so now I have to get that fixed! Ended up “mowing” what he couldn’t finish with the weed wacker. Thankfully it was just the back yard, so no one will see the hash I made of the lawn, lol.

Oh gosh, that happened last week. It sucks to have a lawnmower break. I had to get a new (used) lawnmower and now I can’t cut my overgrown grass due to all the rain. It looks like a jungle in my backyard.

I love rain. And your photo is somewhat soothing and relaxing. I like the way the rain makes the road look slick and shiny. And the red/rust is likely more saturated (in color) because the mulch is wet.
It’s been drizzling her tonight and we are supposed to have rain pretty much all day tomorrow.

I know what you mean about the rain. The photo actually looks brighter than things actually looked yesterday–it was pretty gloomy.
