I’m still feeling under the weather today and was bored, so I decided to take some selfies, then do a little photo manipulation with them.
Please put in the comments which one should be my next gravatar/FB image (if I change it at all). I think I like the first one best.

That’s me rolling my tongue. It’s an inherited ability, like wiggling your ears.
I can’t believe how narcissistic this is, but it sure is fun!
well, are you cute, brave too! lol good work girl.

In the second photo I look EXACTLY like my son. I thought it WAS my son at first, haha!

Last time I took a selfie I almost gave myself a heart attack. Cameras should come with a warning that selfies are not a good idea for the over-60. π
I like them all. Like the first one best.

I think you’re gorgeous and don’t look your age at all! I agree about the first one. I had to do several angles to make them look decent. In certain lights my age shows a lot more, lol.

Alaina, I wish I could comment on your blog. π¦ I saw your reason for not allowing comments though, I understand.

About the comments…. I am putting a new blog together now, called Diary of a Mad Scapegoat (dot com). It is still “hidden” while I get it set up and write the first post. I have decided to allow comments on that one. For some reason, I seem to attract more than my fair share of haters. Maybe it’s the freckles? But with moderation controls it should be all right. I hope. π

I love your freckles! I’m glad you’re putting up another blog that allows comments. Please give me the url when it’s ready
Love the title, BTW

It’s ALL about the light, both outer and inner. My profile picture was taken in August, 2011, when I was 58. I have photos of myself that were done when I was in my 30s that look much older. The difference is that on the day my profile picture was taken, I had been praying intensely and was feeling very close to God. I happened to glance in the mirror and was shocked to see that I seemed to be glowing! So I took some pictures, trying to capture the glow. I almost did, but not quite.
I have also taken selfies when my heart was breaking. In those pictures I look really, REALLY bad.

It really is amazing what your mood can do to photos. Lately I’ve been a lot happier (in general–I do have my bad days) so I actually look younger than in photos taken 5 years ago, it’s weird. I can’t even stand to look at photos of me from a few years ago, and didn’t let anyone take any.
Also, for some weird reason my skin looks better when I’m sick. *scratches head*

I actually like all of them except for the last one, haha, that’s too funny, but I really like the one you have right now π π That’s my 2 cents worth….

That seems to be the consensus. I already changed my FB photo (not that I use FB much) and on Twitter too.

My FB photo is scenic. I rarely change it. I actually dislike when people change things up a lot, because I find it confusing π

Scenes are always nice. I use one in the background on my Twitter account (actually the same scene of the riverbank that’s in my header)

You look so young and are pretty. I thought you were in your early 30s when I came on here. π You are brave to put your real face on your blog as well.

Thank you! I looked older 5 years ago because I was so miserable. Even 10 years ago.
As for putting my real face here, I don’t care about remaining anonymous anymore since everyone knows where to find me now and nothing has happened. I still hide behind my fake name though haha.
