      • Lol, I think the whole east coast is a mud pit. haha! The weather was ka-razy last night especially. Still really windy here too. It was warm last night though at least, but we’re back to Winter temps again today. I thought we might lose power last night. And the thunder was ridiculous.

        • Where do you live, because that sounds exactly like the way it’s been here. Yesterday was much warmer but there were tornados south of here and there were a lot of trees down in my area, and the power went out for a couple of hours yesterday morning.

          • Ugh! Losing power sucks so bad. I’m up the coast a bit from you outside Philadelphia PA.

We had a tornado watch and a flood watch. I don’t think we got the tornado but it was quite windy…as I said. There may have been flooding but not in my immediate area.

We didn’t lose power but there was a whole lot of light flickering going on.

I heard there were downed trees in my county, but I didn’t see any on my travels today, thankfully.

            Lots of trees here.

  1. Congratulations on the new car! She’s one that will serve you well. I had one I purchased used for $500. It had something like 250K miles on it, was my fishing car. I drove it a few years, pulled a little John boat with it. It never failed. One day I stopped to fill-up gas. A guy came over and asked if I wanted to sell it. I got my money back. He drove it another 5 years before he had to replace the engine. I believe he said it had over 600K miles on it. Can’t kill these with proper maintenance.

    • That’s cool! Yes, everyone has told me that if I keep it maintained, it can keep going almost forever. It’s nice to not have to worry about not having reliable transportation anymore.
