I LOVE this kind of “inside-out” logic!
I think it’s THEY key to dazzling creativity!
(On a practical note, this doesn’t surprise me in the least, spheres, particularly rough spheres, are way cheaper to produce than fruit-shaped solids.)

Lol that’s funny but
I don’t remember this at all. Do you know when they changed over?

I’m not sure. I thought they were always circles, but I think I’m remembering back in the 90s when my kids were little buying Trix once, and they had those weird shapes on the left.

According to some VERY perfunctory research, it was 1991, but there was so great a public hue and cry that they changed them BACK in 2007; some sources

It’s hilarious the way people make CAUSES over these things….remember the campaign to bring back red M&M’s? People take that stuff seriously! (I’m glad they brought back red M&Ms though)

Ok yeah, I remember commercials now and they showed the shapes in the air as they named them. But they were originally little balls and THEN changed later. Now changed back as you show. But I don’t eat them anymore anyway. Lost track of all that important stuff. Lol ;P

Right, because I remember when I was a kid, Trix were round. I think it was only in the 90s and maybe the 80s(?) they were had shapes. I’m not sure though.
