Something about the so- called “dark triad” troubles me. Machevellianism isn’t a personality disorder. It’s the creation of a man, Machevelli, who strategized about how to win. His name istubbornsn’t in the DSM and that kind of strategic thinking already exists in the narcissist and psychopath-ASPD. So it’s redundant.

I agree. I didn’t make up the triad. I wondered about that myself. It’s a trait of narcissism and psychopathy and shouldn’t be a separate factor. It’s still interesting though.
