12 weird things you might see a narcissist do.

It’s been several months since I posted this and since I haven’t written anything new about narcissism in a few days (I’m a little burned out on narcissism right now, to be perfectly honest–but I’m sure that’s temporary), I thought I’d repost this one since it seems to be getting some traction and it’s also one of my favorite posts.
These are all red flags not commonly mentioned and you may not know about, but they can help you identify a potential narcissist.

There are some strange things I’ve noticed narcissists do that aren’t usually mentioned as symptoms of their disorder, but seem to be common enough perhaps they should be included as additional criteria for NPD.

If you know someone who does only one or two of these things, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re a narc, but if they do several of them regularly and also seem to fit the more well-known criteria for NPD, these things could be red flags to watch out for.

1. They don’t blink when they look at you.

Some narcs have a penetrating, predatory gaze. If a person of the opposite sex looks at you this way, you may take it as sexual interest (and it could be), but watch carefully: if they do not blink this could mean they are sizing you up as prey. Whether they blink or not, if their stare makes you…

  1. Hi. Its been a crazy day. I know what some political Narcs do. Lol

They treat people good only when they believe they’ll get a vote or they need them for something. Real genuine people in public office are like my friend that passed on. He was in it for the right reasons. He did it for people. It was never about himself. He was so honest.

    • There are a few honest politicians. Unfortunately they’re like finding a diamond on a mountain of shit.
I haven’t been ignoring you, btw. I’ve been getting home late and then too exhausted to do much of anything. I haven’t even been posting much original material the past week or so. 😦 I hate my job.
I miss the way you, me and Fran always used to chat. We will again soon. I hope you’re doing well.

  2. How would you feel if I didn’t believe core aspects you have shared with me? What of I didn’t believe you were a convert narcissist. Mary, what if I didn’t believe Tim was in a cult? What of I voiced my scepticism on a public forum? How would you feel?

    • It all depends. We think and we feel. I would say you have an opinion based on thoughts and you feelings would most likely be motivated by hurt or inspirational.

As far as Tim,…I have my thoughts and I have my feelings. I am probably way off on my thoughts when it comes to him. As he would always say, “know one has more insite into you than you.” He was and is an extremely intelligent man who had an extraordinary thought process in which I admired and found very interesting. We often get caught up in a spin of thoughts to avoid what we feel. With Tim, I liked him in both that’s and also felt for him emotionally.

      • And I also think maturity had a lot to do with being able to set aside your ego…and just embrace the humiliation you feel. Its OK to accept that things didn’t work out in those moments. So you live in the here and now and you embrace the goodness in that person. You forgive your mistakes. You forgive their mistakes, and you allow the good parts to take over.

        That’s transference.

For me, I honestly know that I would not be able to write songs and lyrics without knowing that man. If I had to turn the clocks back,…I’d know him again. If I had to change something,.. I would have simply communicated with him on an entirely different level.

  3. Well now I’ve got a weird one to share. 3 years ago I went into an immigration prison to visit a man with another church member. He was on a list of detainees given to me from my church. After getting frisked… Going through 2 metals detectors I went through the prison gateway to another security check building and then into the visitation room to speak to this man who was being held in this immigration prison. After about 30 minutes after speaking to this man and through the conversation I studied his answers. I watched his eyes shift as he spoke. I listened to him assess me and by instinct and based on my assessment I was pretty confident that he was Psychopathic. After he was released. And he studied every law book they had on the shelf in that prison and managed to get himself out fairly quickly,.. based on legal technicalities.

Well,…once he was released he managed to get my information and he friended me on Facebook and Lindekin. And he’s beening calling me and sending me messages for years. I do not answer them…but the messages keep coming.

He where’s this mask of a Christian guru. But I am positive that he’s anything but a christian. He thinks I’m a devoted Christian so he puts a Jesus mask on as a ploy to such me in.

The following post is the most recent inbox Facebook message I have received by him.

    Its very creepy…

    • By the power in the name of Jesus , l arrest every demon of delay that is on assignment to slow you down. l intercept and fire back every arrow of delay thrown into the atmosphere to cripple your destiny. I fire back every demonic arrow targeted at you and your family. I break every spiritual mirror and monitor fashioned against you in the name of Jesus. Every decision taken against you by the wicked be rendered null and void in Jesus name. As you step out today the Angels will stand guard over you. The God that answers by fire will answer your prayers in Jesus Mighty name. I cover your going out and your coming in with the blood of Jesus. Amen and Amen. Good morning. Have a joyful Sunday.
