My husband and stepdaughter are on a 1,950 mile round trip drive to try to rescue my husband’s 23 year old granddaughter from an abuser meth user. The granddaughter called her mom (my stepdaughter), crying hysterically, asking her mom to come get ber, and my husband went along to help. I stayed home to take care of the dogs.
