What happened to Opinionated Man’s site?

It’s been marked to Private!?! WTF? I wonder if it has anything to do with that troll that’s been harassing him. I understand the troll is also going after other bloggers who are supporters or friends of OM.
Or is WP mad at him again and made him take it down?

I can’t believe it. Has anyone else had trouble getting on his blog?

  6. I suppose the troll will come trolling my way….
    Like it or not, WordMan is as good as there is on here or any blogging community.
    I told him like it was when I met him, he’s ready for prime-time big-bucks putting words in politician’s mouths.
    I hope all is going well for you; sorry I haven’t been by, I should have waited for more help before opening on FB and Twitter.

  8. I feel pretty sure, that OM’s going in private has to do with the troll, as has been threatened him and his family. He did contact all the right places to stop this monster in his trolling.
    I do also hope, that he will be back, when he feel safe for both his family and himself again.

  9. I tried opening it today, but couldn’t get in it. Early last night, I could see the posting, however the rest of posts (comments) were disabled. I don’t know if WP has taken his blog down or not. Scary to think about as I follow his blog too.

  10. I requested access on his private blog just now. I don’t know if that will make any difference to WP. I believe it does have to do with the troll harassing him and his family. I love visiting his blog and have followers from his site. We will see and hopefully he will be back soon.

  11. I saw it private last night and hit the request access button…haven’t seen today if he’s given access or not yet. I figured it was him taking protective measures, with the troll situation.

  13. I don’t think I’m a threat. I’m a small time blogger but I do promote my books on my blog. Hopefully, we will have some good news on this soon. Thanks for replying. 🙂

    • I never said you’re a threat. Did you mean, you don’t think there is a threat to you? I doubt there is, if all you do is promote your own books. I think the only people who could be targeted by the troll would be OM’s hangers on, or people who are outspoken in defending him from this person who has threatened him. I’m not really worried either. I hope we hear good news too.

  15. I agree too. While commenting on other blogs today, I got this weird blackout message about contacting Congress for high mass surveillance illegally. I remembered I asked permission to access OM’s blog yesterday. Anybody else get this message today?

  16. It could had been me too. I’m still learning. lol I hope to hear something about OM soon. Makes me wonder though since they took him off Twitter too. Poor Jason and his family. If somebody did something like that to me, they would have a fight on their hands. 🙂

      • If so, then he was kicked off the Internet. It’s as if he’s just been …erased. His FB account is missing too. Obviously he’s making himself very scarce right now, so he must be taking some sort of protective measures.

      • I really don’t know, like everybody else. I assume he is taking protective measures for himself and his family. I tried emailing him today but no response.

  19. Like everyone else here, I miss OM and have no doubt that this is the fault of the troll. Honestly, if OM hadn’t warned everyone to ignore the guy, and if I wasn’t positive that it would only make things worse, I would say something.

  20. It seems he has scrubbed all his data… Twitter & fb are deleted and his site is still private. I know that he wouldn’t do this voluntarily as the google ranking is pretty important to him so most likely there’s a safety concern he’s trying to address. Just pure speculation here… I have no idea what really happened.
