I don’t know how they do it.

awe

There are so many great blogs I want to read and keep up with more than I do, but I spend so much time working on my own blog, and it’s so  hard to find enough time.    Bloggers who are far more popular than this one still manage to find time to read and Like their followers’ posts and even comment on them.    I probably have one tenth the activity they do, but it’s a real challenge keeping up.  I’m in awe of them.  How do they do it?

  1. I make it a priority to read other blogs and comment. The way I look at it is, I cannot expect engagement on my blog if I am not willing to engage on their blog. That being said, I do not follow everyone that follows me. I am very selective in what I choose, there has to be something engaging with how they write or the stories they tell.

    • I agree. I follow pretty much everyone who follows me, but no way could I read every one of those blogs, and probably a lot of my followers don’t even read this one too much. There’s no way to know really. I have to work more at the social aspect and engaging more with other bloggers’ blogs. Including yours, which happens to be one of the ones I read.

  2. I don’t know how they do it, either, Lucky, especially a blogger like Opinionated Man. Of all the blogs I follow, your blog is the only one I read every day, several times a day. Because your writing is fascinating like that.

  3. I have no idea. I just started writing a lot and transferring stuff from the other blog I used to write on. And already I’m feeling like it’s taking up most of my time. I mean, I have to eat too. lol

  5. I make it a priority to write my posts first and then spend time reading, commenting, reblogging or tweeting people’s post. Especially if it moved me. I can’t expect the same engagement if I don’t give it. I may not always comment, but I am famous for sharing moving posts.

  6. I also struggle with this – I do the best that I can and just accept that there is nothing more that I can do.
