Why the world is such a mess.

I just saw this on Twitter. People like this make me ill.   Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa is a psychopathic, lying, compassionless POS if I ever saw one.   What a horrible excuse for a human being, and she’s just one of many who play the “blame the victim” card and have turned people away from Christianity with lies like these.   Look at her cold dead eyes!

  1. I’m not int hate really. It’s not my thing. But fucking hate politicians. Her husband must work for Anthem or something. Ironic that she mentions burning in eternal hellfire. I think she find out what that’s like.

    • That’s just what I was thinking, Bluebird, that this looks like a hoax. As it says on Snopes:

“This item looks to be a parodied paraphrasing of something she did say (minus the Biblical references and mention of “the poor”) during a 2013 radio interview:

We’re looking at Obamacare right now. Once we start with those benefits in January, how are we going to get people off of those? It’s exponentially harder to remove people once they’ve already been on those programs … we rely on government for absolutely everything. And in the years since I was a small girl up until now into my adulthood with children of my own, we have lost a reliance on not only our own families, but so much of what our churches and private organizations used to do. They used to have wonderful food pantries. They used to provide clothing for those that really needed it. But we have gotten away from that. Now we’re at a point where the government will just give away anything.”

      • I don’t see anything to disagree with there. It’s undeniably true that the government keeps taking over more and more functions that individuals, families, churches, communities, and private charitable organizations used to perform.

As for “quotes” circulated on the internet, it pays to be skeptical.

        • Yes, it does pay to be very skeptical about online “quotes.” My husband once reposted an alleged Obama quote on his Facebook wall. Within minutes, hundreds of his 2,000 or so followers had already liked and reposted it. I did a quick search and found that quote was a myth dating back several presidents ago. My husband immediately put that information on his wall. But people were still gleefully passing on the misinformation as “proof” that our president is an idiot.

      • Then the people who are forced to go to them have to deal with their attitude which is often condescending to say the least. I like the government doing this because everyone knows it’s a right, not somebody’s whim which can be turned off at a moment’s notice. I am looking forward to voting for Bernie Sanders for President! I have no problem with depending on the government. Social Security is very reliable and it is giving me the Golden Years I deserve.

  2. She isn’t even logical. When Jesus talked about “unprofitable servants,” I don’t think he meant poor people who work as servants. I think he was referring to service to God. He also said, “That which you do to the least of my beings, you do to me.” How does that bitch get around that? Talk of “cherry picking.” While Jesus did say “poor in spirit,” I think that would include people who are poor in money as well.

  3. I believe in a previous post (of yours) I indicated that anarchy is a possible option to our political system…after reading that comment, my point has been proven.
