My custom design is gone!

I paid for custom design in December and just opened up my blog and found everything has defaulted back to the “default” theme. I tried to re-customize everything–background, header and color scheme–and nothing will save.

I went to Forums to get help and saw a bunch of bloggers seem to be having the same issue. Has WordPress been hacked? I hate this look.

Is anyone else having this problem? I hope it’s fixed soon!

ETA: I was able to fix it. The only difference is the color for hovering over the headers is a much brighter green now. Oh well, it’s fine. It’s actually a better match for the text in the picture. The Twitter feed is dark gray now instead of black, but I actually like it so I’ll let it stay. At least I didn’t lose my fonts and menus the way some people did. That would be a nightmare! 😮

  4. WP seems to have a lot of problems right now. There’s other things that doesn’t work either. I have image uploading problems. They fis it in next update they say.

    • next update? where did you find that information–in forums? It’s not always easy getting help on WP. I’ll go check. I absolutely HATE the way this blog looks. 😡

      • Those who read your posts in the reader doesn’t see the theme, but others do. I understads it’s irritating. WP support says there will be an update of the app in the end of the month. But that will not fix the theme trouble, only the image upload trouble. Hmmm…

  7. My blog header was changed to an ugly generic thing and I couldn’t change it back. I was finally able to change it to one of my old headers, but not to my more recent custom header that I prefer.

    • Oh no! 😮 You should go to WP Forums and post about that under the “Support” thread. You should have been able to change it back. You might have to wait a day or two and then you’ll get an email letting you know someone in tech support saw it.

      • How’s my writing going?? Well… remember that WP blog name I told you I had once, before I decided it was too stupid — I Write to Keep My Head From Exploding? My head has been on the verge of exploding ever since my sweet stepdaughter moved into our RV trailer, which I was using as a writer’s studio. My retired hubby is in our small house All The Timex and it is almost impossible for me write with him Right Here, for some reason.

        I am thinking of running away from home for a month or two, at least until I get the first draft done. 🙂
