I feel sick.

i-feel-sick-200x200

I started watching part of the inauguration, and couldn’t continue.   Trump as POTUS?  The reality of it makes me feel literally ill.   I just can’t stand to watch.    I think  many Americans feel the same way right now.

I don’t agree with violent protesting, as happened several blocks away in Washington, DC today, but I certainly can empathize with their sentiments.  I feel pretty angry and disgusted with my country right now.

On the bright side, First Lady Melania is absolutely gorgeous, and I like little Barron.

I also am really starting to appreciate Barack Obama now.  It’s so sad that he’s no longer our president.

  1. Yeah I could only tolerate a few minutes. The violent protesting turned me off too. It’s important to stay positive in times like these.

    • Interesting perspective, nowve666 – and no doubt right on in some instances, come to think of it. (I hope you feel better soon, btw – today is lousy enough without dealing with a cold on top of it)

I believe Trumpet is preparing to be justified declaring Marshall Law – yet another step in his fascist forward march. How does he THINK many people will respond to his incendiary tweets and comments? (Oops, I forgot – he doesn’t think!)

I’ve never been envious of Rip van Winkle before this election cycle!

  2. Agreed. Except I think Barron is a pompous little brat. He’s 10 and already a narc. Barron “elected” not to move to the White House as it’s a downgrade from his private floor in Trump Tower. Lol.

  3. Also, Trump just played Malania all day. It’s evident someone has already hit the devalue phase. Stay tuned for the discard. 😂

  4. No. No. No. What on earth made you decide to watch that. It’s no wonder you’re sick. At midnight last night I declared a 36 hour moratorium on Facebook, Twitter and the news. Not a simple thing for this news junkie, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to handle it.

  5. I couldn’t agree more. I was so sick of the coverage that I had a self-imposed media black out and even blogged about it. Today, though, I think it is my civic duty to start listening and watching how we are now being governed. Yesterday’s Women’s Marches have given me hope.
