My cats stole my bed!

Here are my two cats, the half-Maine Coon, BabyCat (actually my daughter’s cat), and in the bottom photo is Sheldon, my tuxedo cat.   (The lumpy part you see in the second photo is actually me!)   Bed thiefs!

  1. ADORABLE! Tink starts out in his little donut bed ON my bed, but I always wake up with him snuggled into the crook of my bent knees (side sleeper). I guess it keeps us both warm.

    Who’s taking the photos?

  2. So sweet. Fur babies belong on the bed. 🙂

My hubby and I share our bed with our two rescue dogs, the 20 pound Poodle and 60 pound Pitbull Boxer. It’s very nice and cozy.

      • It is a king sized bed, thank goodness. My husband is 6’2″ and weighs close to 300 lbs, so it is a bit crowded. Scrappy, our Poodle boy, doesn’t take up much space, he likes to sleep in a little ball, usually tucked behind my knees. But the big dog, Baby Girl, likes to sprawl out sideways. We are training her to sleep long ways, though, so it’s getting better.

I am also teaching her not to wake me up at the crack of dawn by walking across my stomach and kissing me in the face. She thinks she is still a puppy. The coolest thing about her is that she hasn’t stopped wagging her tail, since the day I picked her up off the street last July and brought her home. Unless she is asleep or about to fall asleep, her tail wags nonstop!

The people that worked in the store near where we found her said that she had been hanging around, looking for food, for at least 3-4 months. The day we brought her home, the temperature was 105 degrees! She was so skinny. After living on the streets for so long, starving, thirsty, and exposed to every kind of weather, our Baby Girl seems so grateful to have a home now with people who love her, and bowls of food and water always available. She isn’t skinny anymore! 🙂
