My son lives in New Port Richey, Florida, which is right in the projected path of Tropical Storm Colin, which is due to make landfall later tonight. My son’s a bit of an adrenaline junkie (he wanted to be a stormchaser when he was younger) so hopefully he stays inside. He took this photo driving home. There were a few others, but I couldn’t upload them.
Hoping your son stays safe.

He is fine. It hit a bit north from where he is.

It was pretty nasty on my side of the state but one good thing is that the storm is fast moving, which should help minimize the impact. Glad your son is safe and well.

I would love to be a storm chaser and I’m 39! Glad to hear your son is safe and sound.

We got it here in South Carolina, but it didn’t make too bad of a dent. Lots of rain for my garden!

yeah….we’re still waiting for our backyard to dry out from Colin. We’re very close to sea level so water sticks around. lol

Ugh! Hopefully the weather stays dry long enough for things to dry out.

It should…my garden loves it though!

I love the intensity of a storm. I have lived in the south, right on the gulf all my life. I’ve always liked hurricane season. It’s so exciting. Of course, no loss of life or extreme damage. It’s electrifying!
