***Share a Post Saturday!***

balloons

A couple of months ago I hosted a blog party but hardly anyone came. 😦

I’m going to try this again though.

I’m looking for some new blogs to read and would like know about them and I also want to help promote yours. Have a post you’re just dying to let everyone know about? Don’t be shy. Link to it here in the comments!

I’ll also share your post to all my social media, increasing your views.
All I ask in return is that you reblog this post when you drop your link. If you’d like, you can also share it to your social media too. Spread the word.

Have fun and go at it!

If this turns out to be successful, I’ll probably do this more often.

  1. Hey, this is a post from fonzandcancer that is worth a read. Actually, all of his are, but this is his latest. He’s an inspiring dude. Check it out if you haven’t:

    I can’t.

Since I’m here, I’ll leave a link to my last post too, even though I’m not reall here to promote myself. Given the option, I’d prefer people check out the link to fonzandcancer. But here ya go:

  2. Well, if you are “looking for some new blogs to read and would like know about them” – why don’t you just browse the endless internet or simply the WordPress-Reader ? Promotion of a weblog doesn’t work just by linking to it: In the end of the da – it is the content that counts !

    • Thank you. I’m sure it was a challenge but the rewards must be even greater. Your child is very lucky to have a supportive parent like you.
      Thanks for sharing your link.

  5. Hi Lucky Otter,
That’s weird that people didn’t come to your blog party. I recommend it as a way to increase blog traffic for free.

        • Believe it or not, it’s named after a restaurant here in town, “The Lucky Otter.” They serve pretty good food. But I love otters (after cats, they’re my favorite animal) and it sorta popped into my head when I was trying to think of what to call this blog.

          • What’s your favourite thing to order there? Otters are absolutely adorable. I don’t think we have them in South Africa, but I’ve seen lots of cute pictures of them and watched a few documentaries. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, except cockroaches. That’s where I draw the line.

          • Honestly, I can’t remember i’s been so long since I ate there. They serve Tex-Mex type food which is reasonably priced and you can sit outside an watch the people walk by, which is always fun.
LOVE otters — they are VERY intelligent and love people. There’s a sanctuary nearby where a breeding pair comes right up to you and show off for you. They KNOW how adorable they are! They just seem so happy all the time.

  10. Share and share alike! Why not? So when I read from my Skinny-and-Single Blogger, I knew I wanted to share. There is always a danger, though, when relating stories from the past. Some don’t want to dredge; I use the past memoriesofatime to delight as I once did, and I hope to make others delight as they once did. Nothing wrong with remembering those apple pies or snow angels or crayolas or spelling contests, among other delights. Your story is going to be most appealing to me, this bi-polar guy. I look forward to your postings. Here is one of my favorites that I want to share with your audience. Best wishes, Ciao!, kindest regards, yours truly. http://memoriesofatime.com/2013/05/30/memory-and-storytelling/
