In spite of the continuing cold weather and all-around gloom of winter, I saw a welcome sight today–a cherry tree just beginning to show its pink blooms. Unfortunately I was driving when I saw it and couldn’t pull over so I couldn’t get a picture. I did find a picture of what it looks like though (the blooms on the tree I saw aren’t this full).
Who’s ready for Spring? I sure am.
This weekend is supposed to be beautiful–sunny and up around 70 degrees.

I saw some daffodils today and crocuses almost ready to flower so Spring must be around the corner YaY. About time we had some more warm weather.

I know, but with them putting their leaves out with buds attached warmer weather must be coming (I hope so anyway)

I’m jelly. It snowed here today. Nothing serious and nothing stuck to the roads at all, but just illustrates how cold it still is up here. We were supposed to get more snow on Sunday too but it’s going to be in the mid 40s…At least that’s too warm for snow.
We get into the 70s Wednesday though. So there’s that.
