Yes, that’s all they are. We make judgments on what is a “flower” or “plant’ and what is a weed, but really, what is the difference? Maybe weeds are a little hardier and more common so they tend to be invasive of plants we like–so they get demoted to ‘weeds”

I don’t like any weeds that have thorns or thistles. They hurt!
